Let's face it, computer hardware is complicated and selecting the proper components can be confusing and frustrating. The folks at Terabyte Station are here to help. We have been designing computer builds since 1997. With over 20 years of computer building experience, we are ready to help you build the ultimate computer for your recording or live performance needs.
Let's get started with the basics:
CPU: We build with Intel processors. Currently, we recommend an Intel Xeon or Intel Core i7 for your DAW
Motherboard: We use ASUS motherboards. They are reliable and support the latest features available.
Graphics: We recommend a graphics card from ASUS with a NVIDIA chipset, like the GTX 1650 or better.
Chassis and Power Supply: We can build in any case you like. We recommend a high quality power supply with adequate output for your hardware.
Then some memory and storage:
RAM: We use RAM from CRUCIAL TECHNOLOGIES. 32 GB of DDR4 would be a good start.
Storage: We build with the latest SSD technology for speed and performance. You can incorporate different types of drives for storage.
Software and Extras:
Operating System: We can build your computer with Windows 10, 8.1 or 7. We recommend Windows 10 Professional Edition.
Extras: Our custom builds are just what we say, custom built. We can add extra video cards, setup your sound interface, add firewire support, DVD drives, card readers or anything else you can think of. We can build it.
